Meet Sarah!

Hi, I’m Sarah, the photographer behind Sarah Amick Photography. I’m based in Clemson, SC and photograph high school seniors, Clemson graduation portraits, performing arts, headshots, and special events throughout the Upstate of South Carolina.

My love of photography started when I was 16 and received my first SLR camera. After spending years photographing as a hobby, I eventually decided to turn that passion into a career. I’ve now been a professional photographer for nearly six years, and I still feel just as excited every time I pick up my camera.

I’m drawn to real moments and honest storytelling. Whether I’m photographing a senior session, creating headshots for performers and professionals, documenting a theatre production, or capturing a meaningful celebration, my goal is always the same — to create images that feel genuine and lasting.

The performing arts have become an especially meaningful part of my work. I love photographing live theatre and dance, and I also enjoy creating headshots for actors and performers preparing for auditions, productions, and promotional materials.

When I’m not behind the camera, life is full at home with my husband, our two kids, three dogs, and four cats. I love spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and getting lost in a good book or audiobook. Local theatre is also a big part of my life, both in the audience and behind the lens.

I believe photographs become more meaningful with time, and it’s a privilege to create images that people will look back on for years to come.
