A couple of weeks ago, I had the absolute joy of spending time at one of the most charming places in the Upstate, Lucky Pennie Farms. Set in a peaceful stretch of the Upstate, this gem of a farm is home to some absolutely beautiful and gentle Highland cows.
I was there taking photographs for their website and social media, and also grabbed some model shots for mini sessions that I plan to offer in the next couple of months featuring their mini Highland cows! Not only is the setting a dream, but the experience itself was just so sweet and special. I got to spend the evening with the owners, who are so incredibly kind and welcoming, and their herd. My model, Avery, and I got to cuddle with the cows, walk them in the evening sunlight, and even feed a baby named Diesel, who thanked Avery with some slobbery kisses.

In addition to photography sessions, they offer private visits with their cows, use of the mini cows for events, and boutique breeding if you want to have your very own mini Highland cow to own. It's such a beautiful place, one of those hidden treasures that you just don't want to leave.
